His Jiu-Jitsu lineage is a source of pride, tracing from Carlos Gracie to Henzo Gracie, to Daniel Gracie, Rodrigo Fujita, and his first instructor Bruno Carvalho, whose mentorship instilled perseverance and a love for the art. Chris continues to refine his skills under Rodrigo Fujita, benefiting from his expertise in competition and technique.
Daniel Gracie, a member of the original Gracie family, has competed in Pride Fighting Championships and coached multiple UFC athletes. Chris considers it a true honor to carry forward his teachings at Daniel Gracie Lancaster.
